Walk With Me

Most of the time, I have written sonnets and other recognizable poetic formats. Here’s one that is different in the fact that it was written more simply, but with great emotion.

Walk With Me

Into The Light

Walk with me in the meadow of my mind
And take your shelter in my loving arms:
You have shown me that life is good and kind
By giving gently of your peaceful charms.

So many times I’ve found myself quite lost
Wandering neglected in a dense fog:
Like a sailor upon the tempest tossed
I’ve slipped beneath the waves, a sunken log.

But you reached down to save my sinking soul
And brought me back into the bright sun’s light:
Now I have but one significant goal
To keep you within my spirit’s true sight.

Never leave my side for another’s love,
I couldn’t bear to lose a heart like yours:
For, sure as I am of Someone above,
None else holds the key to my ailment’s cures.

My darling, my once-in-a-lifetime find,
Come with me to my country’s fields and farms:
Walk with me in the meadow of my mind
And take your shelter in my loving arms.

I am an Astrologer who also writes about world events. My first eBook "At This Point in Time" is available through most on-line book stores. I have now serialized my second book "The Star of Bethlehem" here. And I am experimenting with birth and death charts. If you wish to contact me, or request a birth chart, send an email to cdsmiller17@gmail.com. (And, in case you are also interested, I have an extensive list of celebrity birth and death details if you wish to 'confirm' what you suspect may be a past-life experience of yours.) Bless.
