Happiness Is Inside You

On the PsyCards website, all 40 cards are listed and their meanings given. The basic reading is called the Decision Maker:

If you have a tricky decision to make, the cards can help you quite simply.

1. Shuffle all the cards, excluding the Inquirer, whilst concentrating upon your question, but make your question clear in your mind, and stick to it.

2. Lay the first seven cards and read your answer. Within these cards there should be one card which is extremely relevant to your question, and then another which gives an answer.

3. If there is no relevant answer, it means that now is not the correct time to ask. Try again another day!

A Personal Variation

In 1986, I started using PsyCards in earnest. What developed was a variation that allowed me a deeper perspective of what was going on. In the above instructions, seven cards are laid out from left to right. Now lay out another line of seven cards from the bottom of the deck from right to left. Then a third line (of seven cards) from the top of the deck, left to right, followed by a final line (of seven cards) from the bottom again from right to left.

Line One becomes your Outer reading: the obvious situation;

Line Two becomes your Inner reading: your motivations;

Line Three becomes your Other reading: the other person’s point-of-view; and

Line Four becomes your Upper reading: the spiritual overview.

I like to think that this expanded reading variation gives you a better perspective of your question. It certainly can help to make your decision. Happy reading.
