Grace

Stairway to Heaven

In the ‘old days’ (read, just yesterday), we thought we could earn our way to salvation. By following the rules, we thought we could buy a stairway to heaven.

What a waste of effort!

As I have pointed out before, we are programmed to disobey the rules. The Ten Commandments were given to Moses by God to give the Israelites some idea of what would constitute good behaviour. It opened their eyes to the potential of testing their limits with God. In other words, some of these things wouldn’t have occurred to them without their knowing about the Big Ten no-nos.

We all have sinned

Whenever I meet someone who has a ‘holier-than-thou’ attitude, I think to myself, “Who do you think you are, God?”

The whole purpose of this third dimension incarnation is to allow us a playground for doing exactly what we want, when we want, and how we want, without any lasting consequence. See it as a computer game. When you’ve used up your lives, you rest a bit and then start over.

This does not mean there is no consequence; there is, and it’s called guilt. But the only one who suffers your guilt is you. It colours your experiences and can totally ruin your enjoyment of life.

“Error, Error”

This is the tricky bit about sin: we hold it against ourselves, but God doesn’t. Like any parent, God sees what we do, and may not particularly ‘like’ it, but then s/he sees us and totally loves us as his/her children. Now, we’re back in ancient legendary territory.

It’s as if we are a spiritual virus hidden deep inside the Matrix. Little by little, we wake up to our spiritual nature, changing our environment by changing our ways of being. When we raise our vibrational levels, we raise the whole Earth’s.

Conclusion

We are already forgiven for everything we’ve ever done or will ever do wrong. That is the meaning of Grace. All we have to do is accept this fact, and our lives will be transformed.
