Bill Gates (October 28, 1955 @ 10 pm – Seattle WA)
Up until now I have resisted the urge to take a good look at this man. I’m not exactly sure why. It could be the widespread belief in his alleged part in a conspiracy to ‘enslave’ us. (Now, that’s a provocative statement, and you should know by now that I am willing to make statements like that to shake you up a bit or a lot. I want to wake you up.)
But looking astrologically at Bill Gates helps me to remember that he is just a flawed human being, just like the rest of us. Or is he?
All the astrology sites I looked at suggest that the time of 10 pm is excellent. However, in my experience, no one is born at the stroke of the hour. More than likely, the person registering the birth time rounded it up. But for our purposes, we’ll leave it at that time.
I often wonder why I choose the order of my horoscope work. In truth, I may be being led by spirit, because the first thing that caught my eye was the Uranus conjunct Ascendant aspect. Did we see this yesterday in Douglas Adams‘ chart? And the clincher for me is the fact that Chiron is opposite to Uranus, again. Some very Aquarian energies there. As there is only one inconjunct, I will share what that means to Bill Gates, but please remember that if the real birth time is later than this, the aspect will disappear.

While you are young, you will find it difficult to decide what to do with your life. The demands of the world may sometimes be hard to handle, because they don’t seem to take advantage of your natural abilities and instincts. Also, much of your time will be taken up with learning routine skills that do not seem at first to have much connection with reality. But don’t try to rush your life. Even if you can’t see why you should learn a skill, try it out anyway. Later on, its purpose may become clear. Also you tend to rush through your tasks, because you are impatient to get to something else, but in that way you don’t learn anything very thoroughly. Or you may try to live entirely for what you think is most pleasurable at the moment rather than for your long-range goals. Certainly you have a right to be young and happy, but don’t overdo it; the lessons you do not learn well now will create problems when you try to pursue a future course of action.
What I want to draw your attention to is the aspect between Jupiter and Pluto. They are conjunct in Leo, in the 2nd house. In a phrase, I could say that Bill Gates has found a way to ‘harness the expanding universe and the dark arts to make his money and lead the world’. Too much? What makes this interesting is how a similar configuration was developing at this present time, culminating in the same two planets becoming exactly conjunct @ 24º Capricorn on April 4th. Evidently, his time has come, again.
People accuse Bill Gates of having a messiah complex: he would rather say that he only wants to save mankind from disease and other unnatural disasters.
Is there a difference?
My title for this post hearkens back to a Neil Diamond track from his live album Hot August Night…
