Moldavite

This is like taking the long way home: I questioned the title of one of Roerich’s paintings as perhaps a mis-translation; “She Who Carries the Stone” now may have been completely accurate. Their stone was known as a Cintamani.

Now, I’m revisiting “Who’d Have Thought It” to see exactly what Colin Bloy wrote about the piece of “Grail” stone he found in Andorra.

I persisted in the area indicated by the rod and, amongst some stones of indeterminate and insignificant shape, began to isolate one which was different. It contained a cross like shape protruding from a flat base and, on loosening it from its position, I put it in the bag for further examination. We went on digging and at 1.15pm Paul said that our hour was up. I took out the pendulum and obtained a nil reaction, likewise with the rod. “Ask if we should go on digging,” said Paul, and the answer came back as no. I then asked had we found it, and the answer was yes, it must be in the bag I thought, and I think that it is that strange stone. After our exertions, we decided that it was time for lunch, and went outside the cave and perched ourselves on the ledge. There was no room to walk around, and I took the strange stone, still coated in clay-like mud, and placed it in the recess on the mountain. I invited it to produce squares and it did. Paul was able to dowse them too. It performed like Piotam. “Who are you”, I asked. “Piotam,” it replied. “Are you the Grail?” “Yes,” it said. We ran a few more tests. It performed. When I got it home I gave it a wash as it was encrusted with clay. The strange shape was confirmed; an equal armed cross (a Cathar cross), on a base all made of a crystalline material and translucent.

Now I’m beginning to get the gist of how important this stone was.

Now I can understand why Colin Bloy decided to rebury his “Grail” stone in Arthur’s tomb on the ground of Glastonbury Abbey.

Now I see that this stone may also be the reason that Nicholas and Helena Roerich felt they had been entrusted with the ushering in of a New World.

So, the question is: was Moldavite the harbinger of the Age of Aquarius?
