Old (2021)

On a whim, we watched this film on Netflix last night. I wish we hadn’t, now, partly because we are getting old, and partly because I don’t like psychological horror movies, like “Signs”. However, we watched it until the end to see how it would finally be resolved, if indeed it would be.

But, I came away with one reminder of a truth, once spoken to me in the middle of a very trying time:

In a thousand years, none of this will matter.

But is that really true?

If I can still look back on events that happened 2,000 years ago, then it does matter to me, personally.
