Was Dorothy’s Time in Oz a Near Death Experience?

Or Just a Dream?

In the film, “Oz the Great and Powerful”, the Professor gets carried away by a tornado, and his black and white world becomes a technicolor spectacular. Even the flowers become musical. Hmm.

The question of Dorothy experiencing Oz as a dream is a logical one since she may have been knocked out when the tornado hit. And in 1939, not many people had heard of NDEs. But it makes sense if you consider the fact that Dorothy was always in Kansas even though her consciousness was elsewhere.

But would her meeting the Wizard, disguised as the Devil, not make this journey a spiritual one?

And her companions were spiritual guides. Just sayin’.
