A Spaceman Came Travelling

During our dinner discussion last night, one of our guests brought up the surprise he had when listening to David Bowie’s Starman and really hearing the lyrics for the first time.

This brought up the subject matter of aliens featured in pop songs and we talked about songs such as Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft by Klaatu and others. But when I mentioned Chris de Burgh‘s song, he said he’d never heard it.
