The Tapestry of Life by Karen Berg
We are Each an Insignificant Thread
Sometimes the inspiration of my daily post is something that I read on a Facebook page, like today’s from Center for Action and Contemplation. It was the use of the word “weave” which caught my attention, as this echoed a thought that I shared with someone else over the Christmas break.
The Holy Spirit is our built-in tutor. We learn, when we listen to its voice and not our ‘roof-brain chatter’, what is suitable and necessary for our individual education. We were never intended to be ‘just like’ anyone else. Even children of a dominating parent will rebel against his or her authority, because (like Astrology) their influences “impel, not compel.” This allows us to choose our individual pathway, which ultimately creates a beautiful and profound pattern, only visible when we are no longer viewing life from the tapestry itself.
And…
In other words, folks, We Are All In This Together.
