The Rosetta Stone is Unearthed (July 15, 1799)

Until the Rosetta Stone was deciphered over 20 years after its discovery, Egyptian hieroglyphs were unfathomable, a veritable mystery to be solved. I wondered if a randomized event chart would show that to be true. I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I was!

Neptune conjunct South Node both conjunct the Ascendant, all at 12° Scorpio. Could the image be any clearer? I think not. The resulting Yod (Finger of God) also is not mostly timing-related, so we can perhaps trust it to be true. Do wonders ever cease?
Moon Inconjunct Mercury
You will have to learn to make your feelings and your reason work together. The problem is not so much that they come into conflict with each other, but that your reason and feelings represent two very different sides of your personality. When you are calm and collected and able to reflect carefully, you make decisions in one way. But when you are emotionally involved in a situation, you are likely to make up your mind very differently, which could cause you to seem inconsistent to others and make it difficult for them to understand you.
(This seems especially true for the Rosetta Stone, itself.)
Mercury Inconjunct Pluto
You have a rather complicated and sometimes tricky mind. You usually prefer to do things in roundabout and involved ways instead of being simple and direct.
On the positive side, this means that you enjoy solving puzzles, tracking down mysteries and finding out about hidden matters.
(Well, isn’t that telling?)
