The Holy Roman Empire Strikes Back But Loses

Edict of Worms (May 25, 1521)

It seems that the schism that happened between the Roman Catholic Church and Protestantism can actually be charted to this event, which saw Martin Luther be branded a heretic. Now, I have a birth chart for Luther on my Kepler 8.0 computer program, but I’m not going to display it at this time. In fact, I’ve written about Luther and his protest in my book “At This Point in Time”.

Here’s the event chart, randomized to a short time after noon, on the day.

It is as I expected: Sun (conjunct the Midheaven in Gemini!) is inconjunct to Pluto in Capricorn. At the same time, Saturn in Aquarius is inconjunct the Virgo Ascendant, while Jupiter in Sagittarius is inconjunct to Uranus in Taurus. Everything is exactly as it should be. The Roman Catholic Church lost its stranglehold on Europe, and the Protestant Reformation was born. Isn’t astrology grand?
