Bridgerton Season 4 (2026)

There truly is nothing new under the sun. Bridgerton has been a staple of Netflix since its first season in 2020. The stories are riveting especially if you like love in the English Regency period. The author must have been stuck for a story line with this latest season, adapting the story of a scullery maid who goes to the ball, leaving at midnight to avoid discovery of who she really is. Instead of a silver slipper left behind, she leaves her glove. That provides a clue about her identity for Benedict Bridgerton, the second eldest son. His role as a ‘rake’ is completely overturned by this chance encounter. Hmm.

Part 2 comes in a few weeks. It’s obvious that the true identity of Sophie will have to be revealed. Her rightful place in society will be restored and then she and Benedict will be free to marry. Then they will live happily ever after, just like in the fairy tale.
