Eyes Wide Shut (1999)

This is the final one of a series of questionable occurrences that have questions about them. There are theories that Stanley Kubrick was ‘eliminated’ within days of the longer (almost four hour) final cut being previewed by studio executives and others. The date of that preview was supposedly March 1, 1999, six days before Kubrick’s death. If you go looking for ‘proof’ there is a YouTube video which purports to be the first person testimony of the projectionist for that preview. His memory is that forty minutes were removed and shorter sequences reshot, in order to hide the identities of some of the masked individuals who performed the ritual dance featured near the end of the film. (I’m not sharing it here, because I have no ‘proof’.)

With all the ritual abuse of young women (and girls) being uncovered these days, Kubrick may have been trying to show us that there is a level of the social order that actually worships Satan, or something resembling that. So, to see what the energies were on the day of the preview, I set the time for 8 pm GMT.
