An Evil Spirit Needs Exorcism
I saw this image on Facebook and couldn’t resist ‘borrowing’ it. The blending of that iconic scene in The Exorcist and a night-time shot of the White House is too clever to ignore. I don’t know who created it, but they’re a genius.
A Chess Match

With yesterday’s guilty plea by Michael Cohen, and eight guilty verdicts for Paul Manafort, Donald Trump is slowly losing his chess pieces to Mueller’s Special Investigation. According to the CBC, that makes five men convicted so far.
Trump is running out of moves. But is he willing to concede defeat? No.
Witch Hunt

By constantly declaring that the Mueller Investigation is nothing but a ‘witch hunt’, Trump is denigrating every move that is made against him. But the clues are starting to add up, and it seems that at the heart of this government is a ‘very naughty boy’.
In some ways, I think Mueller is waiting for Trump to hit back at his investigation with a indictable offence, and then he’ll set the Impeachment ball rolling.
Conclusion

I’m not suggesting that Trump is an ‘evil genius’: that would be a slur to all the villains in the world; no, he’s just a guy who thinks he’s smarter than everybody else. (Austin Powers could have sorted him out.)
Unfortunately, the conservative voters in the United States decided he was the ‘real deal’, and now they are doubling down on their Presidential choice. This is setting up for the worst crisis in American history, and no one wants to ruin the country.
Robert Mueller’s job is to discover the truth, and to root out the corruption at the heart of their government. Let’s hope the Constitution survives the exorcism.
