Two women confronted Senator Jeff Flake on his way to the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday.

They made a few provocative, and unproven, statements about Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s alleged behaviour in his teens. But the power of their personal stories, spoken in less than four minutes and thirty-five seconds, was enough to change Flake’s mind.

It was the best one-to-one confrontation since Job faced his Maker.

And potentially history will now go down a different road.
