Freddie Mercury’s rise to super stardom from relative obscurity is chronicled in this movie. The years covered are 1970 to 1985. The movie ends with Queen’s appearance at Live Aid on 13 July 1985. The (almost) full 20+ minute set is the highlight.

I was going to discuss other aspects of the movie, but after watching Mercury in this video, I’ve decided not to. If you want to witness his genius at work, go see it in the cinema. You won’t be disappointed.
