Is a failure to communicate

I was going to use this phrase long before the latest headlines from the States about what happened between Michael Cohen and Donald Trump. Now it has shown up as a quote by a lawyer friend of Cohen’s who said that the only reason Cohen turned against his former client was because no one got back to him when he needed some reassurance.

So, there you have it. The biggest witness against the President just needed to know he was still appreciated. The optics made it impossible for them to talk because it could have been misconstrued as ‘witness tampering’.
