Edmonton, Alberta Story

When I did my day trip to Edmonton, I had intended to contact my son, Derek, if possible. He and his mom had moved there with his new adopted father. I went into the West Edmonton Mall when I first arrived by bus. At the entrance was a bank of pay phones (remember them?) and three sets of telephone directories. I walked up to the closest one and saw that it was already open, on the very page I wanted! I rang the number but no one was home. (And I don’t remember if there was an answerphone for me to leave a message.) At any rate, the Universe knew I was coming.
Bless.
