And Speaking of the Winning Side Writing History…

Richard III (October 2, 1452 – August 22, 1485)

Richard III was the last of the Plantagenet dynasty (to die nasty) and his death ended the English Middle Ages (or so we are led to believe). I have a personal issue with this individual, but that’s neither here nor there in the grand scheme of things. To come within a sword’s length of his killing the future Henry VII is a little too close for comfort, even after some 638 years. It was the ultimate battle between ‘good and evil’. But that’s not why we’re here today. (This post was triggered by the CBC airing a production of William Shakespeare’s “Richard III” at Stratford, Ontario, last night.)

As with most English royalty, birth times are a matter of history, so I think we can rely upon this one.

There are three inconjuncts…

Moon Inconjunct Mercury

You shouldn’t allow your feelings to overrun your reason. The best thing to do whenever there seems to be a conflict between these two areas is to not make a decision immediately. Reflect and wait for further information that might help you make up your mind. As you get older, this problem should lessen considerably, and you should be able to make decisions more and more rapidly.

Mars Inconjunct Ascendant

In close relationships you have to learn to compromise. Initially you may come on very strong and act very aggressively toward someone you are interested in. But that approach only provokes conflict because the other person feels threatened. If you learn to take a softer approach, you will be able to get what you want, within reason, without having to fight for it.

One of the more difficult sides of this aspect is that you must learn to understand whether or not someone has violated your rights. You may think that this is the case even when it isn’t. Learn to discriminate.

Jupiter Inconjunct Uranus

You will always need freedom, but you will also discover that what you do with your life will have meaning only if it means something to others. This is not an artificial rule but a truth that you will discover within yourself. When you do, you may become heavily involved in some social movement that advocates unusual ideas or ways of thinking. When you are an adult, you may join a movement for social reform and change. However, even in a group that embodies your own thinking, you will find it hard to adjust to the group’s demands on your own time and freedom. Consequently you will probably leave that group and join another, until that one also becomes oppressive. While you are young, you may have a similar problem with your friends as well. When they start to expect too much of your time and energy, you will break away from them.

And the video, linked above, reminded me how synchronicities exist: Neville and Goddard were both listed as supporters of the English Kings. Hmm.
