The Crown (Season 6, Part 1)

In my humble opinion, reckless media coverage of Diana (and Dodi) caused the crash that killed them. In this final season of “The Crown” I think the show decided that blaming Henri for his drink ‘n’ drive actions was the softer option. Many people are to blame, not least of whom was Dodi for diverting Diana from her intended return to the UK, in order to buy her an engagement ring. And if there was a way for the show to demonstrate how intrusive the paparazzi cameras were, while following their car, I think they captured the chaos perfectly. As Shakespeare wrote in Romeo and Juliet, “all are punished.”
