(He Wants You to) Remember Him for “Trinity” Only

Oppenheimer (2023)

We finally got around to watching this movie on Amazon Prime, last night. Wow, it was impressive at every level. And if you didn’t understand the man behind the creation of the atomic bomb, this movie lays it out for you in public and private moments, which paint a picture of a complex individual.

But what about the man himself?

J. Robert Oppenheimer (April 22, 1904 – February 18, 1967)

Is it a coincidence that Oppenheimer died 57 years ago today? Hmm.

One word of warning: this time is considered conflicting/unreliable, but it is the one that most astrology sites have used, including my own Kepler 7.0 program. First thing to notice is that there are no inconjuncts. But, if someone, somewhere decided that this was the right time because of Neptune and Pluto bracketing the Gemini Ascendant, I would agree with them, since both these planets pack a punch. Even Uranus on the Descendant speaks to this, too.

Now, compare his birth chart with the “Trinity” chart: immediately, it is very evident that he was born to produce the first atomic bomb. I especially appreciate that Oppenheimer’s Moon is exactly conjunct the event Sun. And the interactive Yod pointing at the event Neptune, formed by inconjuncts to his Sun and Midheaven, tells the tale over time. There were doubts sown about Oppenheimer’s past which suggested that he leaked the nuclear information to the Soviets. That mystery will never be solved, but it influenced a whole generation after World War II to consider him to be some kind of traitor. Men in power with vendettas pull strings behind the scenes to discredit innocent men. That’s operating here.
