In the Past, Solar Eclipses Stopped Wars

These Days, Hardly Anyone Pays Attention

Except, of course, those who wish to view a total eclipse with their own two eyes (through protective eyewear).

But, in the course of human events, signals from the Universe were something to pay attention to in history. I don’t know about you, but the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th should be a sight to behold.

Where we live in Midland, Ontario, the likelihood of viewing 90% of the eclipse is good, except for the weather. But I can keep my fingers crossed that I won’t get a repeat of the cloud cover that I experienced in Torquay UK in 1999.
