Tim Walz (April 6, 1964)
Well, he wouldn’t have been my first choice, but then I’m not running for the Presidency of the United States, am I? Lots of strategic thinking has gone into Harris’ decision, I’m sure, but did they ask an astrologer? I doubt it.

I randomized the timing of his birth chart to as close as possible to when I heard that he had been chosen. It’s interesting that the North Node is conjunct his Ascendant in Cancer. But, as this is accidental, I shouldn’t expect too much of that coincidence. He has two inconjuncts, neither of which are dependent on an exact time of birth.

You are very sensitive to your environment and to the people around you. On one level of your being, you feel what is going on very acutely. Unfortunately your understanding often comes in terms that are very difficult to communicate to others, because their meaning is not clear in your own mind. Your greatest danger is in being exposed to negative people who are full of anger or depression or who act very harshly toward you and undermine your self-confidence. Your self-confidence has to be boosted at every conceivable opportunity, and it would be very destructive for you to be criticized sharply, unless the person has made it very clear that he or she loves you.

You have a tendency to be rash and impulsive, which may get in your way. If matters proceed too slowly, you are likely to make a sudden move that upsets the whole situation and forces you to start over again. You must learn to be patient if you want to achieve your objectives.
This energy may also be expressed as a hot temper, especially when you have to endure restriction or limitation. You have a rebellious streak that needs to be disciplined, because everyone has to endure some restrictions, and it takes so little to trigger your temper.

OK. This doesn’t bode well for debates during the election cycle, and it doesn’t bode well for his becoming President if Harris wins and then has to step down for any reason. (I’m not suggesting that it could happen, I’m just allowing the concept of his presidency to sink into your understanding.)

I suppose the strongest link between Harris and Walz is that his Jupiter is conjunct her Moon. As I’ve pointed out previously, her Saturn is conjunct the Moon’s position in the United States of America’s chart, which is totally necessary if she is meant to succeed as President. Again, the slower planets (Saturn through Pluto) are aligned within 7° (at widest) between them. They will work as one unit, but Walz may have his own agenda when it comes to the faster personal planets. At any rate, we shall see.

Maybe Kamala is building much bigger Walz against Trump and Vance. What’s in a name, anyway?
