The Perfect Couple (2024)

This Netflix series is based on a book by Elin Hildebrand, published in 2018. In its original format, the death of the bride’s maid-of-honour is an accident, but in the series, it’s a murder. Every episode implies who the murderer could be, but that’s only revealed in the second half of the final episode. So, it keeps you guessing, along with the Nantucket Police.

The Perfect Couple are not the husband and wife at the head of the Winbury household on Nantucket Island. No, the perfect couple are Shooter, the best man, and Amelia, the bride. Shooter thinks he recognizes Amelia from an event on the B Train (hence the title of this post) several years before. He even lists Amelia’s number on his cellphone as “B Train”.
