Little House on the Prairie (2026)

Nostalgia’s great, in moderation. Netflix is obviously hoping to ride the coattails of Michael Landon’s long standing TV show from the late 1970’s, early 1980’s.

We watched the first episode last night. It was too sanitized. Everyone was educated, articulate and good-looking. That may be appealing to modern audiences, but after watching the prequels of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone, it doesn’t fit what we know to be the rough and tumble of pioneering life.

I won’t be watching any further episodes, but I just wanted to share this with you, in the meantime.
