This speech was recorded by the BBC after it was given in the British Parliament on the 4th of June 1940. As a resumé of the battle and the evacuation, it is a history lesson for the ages. Churchill’s speech also gave birth to the concept of the Dunkirk Spirit.

See Operation Dynamo for the rest.
