Damned For All Time/Blood Money

It wasn’t me that picked up the similarity, it was Susan. I think I’ve probably heard it too many times, starting with the 1970 concept LP. Last night NBC broadcast the show on Easter Sunday, and we watched it for 2 hours and 20 minutes, including commercials.

Now watch this next video, and see if it doesn’t have a distinct melody line similar to the one that started at 1:07 of the first video.

Since the Batman TV show came out in 1966, I think I can safely say that Andrew Lloyd Webber ‘borrowed’ the theme unconsciously in 1970.

Why hasn’t anyone noticed, before?
