Toronto, Ontario, Canada
In 1978, we lived in St. Catharines, Ontario. On a whim, we went to Toronto and stayed at the King Edward Hotel for the weekend.
We went to a play: The Incredible Murder of Cardinal Tosca – a Sherlock Holmes mystery.
Amy, just two-and-a-half years old, remarked in a very loud voice when a gun discharged on stage, “Man go bang!” The audience laughed.
At the intermission, Don Harron of Charlie Farquharson (from Parry Sound…) fame, looked admiringly at our very young theatre-goer.

We moved to British Columbia that December.
