Zen Koans
We all think too much. It’s a result of depending on the scientific method to solve the mysteries of life. Sometimes, we just need to let go of it all and allow the truth to sink into our minds. Sometimes, we need to face the fact that we cannot use our intellect to see God.

We seek patterns, looking at the details, while viewing the tapestry as a whole. If anything, we are programmed to be this way. Quantum mechanics has shown us that the observer makes events happen. Otherwise, if we didn’t look, nothing would happen.
“If a tree falls in the forest, does anybody hear?” (Bruce Cockburn)

There is the ‘ultimate’ koan, which can be found in the Bible:
Moses asked God who he was,
Exodus 3:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.
