Kingmaker: the Throne Behind the Power

ꜣst: the Throne (Egyptian alphabet)

Isis is represented in the Egyptian alphabet by the image of a throne (see it on top of her head, above). The pronunciation of her name is equivalent to ‘aisé’. This could be where we get the term ‘seat of power’. It could also be where we sit…

In the old days, only women were the kingmakers. Even the Native Americans and Canadians chose their council chiefs through the Grandmothers. If the chief wasn’t up to the task, he would be replaced by them. There was no divine right to rule. It was always up to the women to decide.

Has anything really changed? No.

It only appears that men are in control. Donald Trump would be wise to remember that.
