Everything Becomes Crystal Clear
I am trying to be transparent, here.
My sister, Anne’s Mexican Sunset image is so perfect!
She’s become such a gifted photographer recently. She may have been so, all her life.
And that (almost) subliminal “X” on the outside of the sho(r)t glass makes this a ‘special’ photograph in my eyes.
Now: what am I really trying to say?
There’s No Need For Pretense
In just over a month’s time, I shall be turning 70 years of age. (I was going to write ’70 years old’, but I don’t feel “old”.)
I’m feeling clear. In all its definitions. That’s an amazing thing.
The need to explain myself, to justify my existence, to excuse my past mistakes, is fading like the sunlight in the photo.
I can now eXit stage left or stage right and ‘my’ life will go on.
But my passing from this world will be in a blaze of glorious colour.
Synchronicity? H&R Block’s latest ads specifically use the words “transparent” and “crystal clear”. Caroline Myss wrote a post about “being illuminated” two days earlier.
