ABC 20/20 Special

I watched this hour long presentation last night. The interviewers tried hard to get a rise out of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, but for the most part, the Democratic running mates were at their diplomatic best. What was striking, at least to me, was how wide open Kamala’s face seemed to be, while Joe’s demeanor was slightly abashed.

Then I had a dream during the night which spoke to me in imagery that showed a sudden change in the narrative to make the most of the viewing public. The image was of a video that suddenly changed from one line of thought to a totally new one. I kept trying to focus on the exact moment when it happened, but it was difficult to isolate.

Later on, I had a different dream. In it I was navigating a car through a three lane traffic situation. This was the first time I had done this particular maneuver. The outside lanes carried vehicles that were coming my way; the middle lane went in the reverse direction. I was driving at a fairly breakneck speed, steering clear of the oncoming traffic. That was on the first day of a new job (in my dream). When invited to do the same again the second day, I declined. That’s when the light bulb went off in my head: Biden, in spite of his words last night, is not looking to be President for two terms.
