Evita: The Spiritual Leader of Argentina

Eva Perón (May 7, 1919 – July 26, 1952)

According to Wikipedia:

“Eva’s autobiography, La Razón de mi Vida, contains no dates or references to childhood occurrences, and does not list the location of her birth or her name at birth. According to Junín’s civil registry, a birth certificate shows that one María Eva Duarte was born on 7 May 1919. Her baptismal certificate lists the date of birth as 7 May 1919 under the name Eva María Ibarguren. It is thought that in 1945 the adult Eva Perón created a forgery of her birth certificate for her marriage.”

Well, talk about an obscure start to one’s life. Even the astrology sites, list her birth time as 5:00 am and 5:14 am. My Kepler 7.0 program had the date and time already in the system, so I didn’t change it although it seems to me that an earlier time would have been more likely, since her lifetime achievements show up too early in life.

What catches my eye is the Moon/Saturn conjunction in the Leo 5th House. Her marriage to Juan Perón on this date (October 18) in 1945 catapulted her into the political and social spotlights of her country. That implies that the birth time and the chart Ascendant should have moved backward by 5 hours or forward by 18 hours. Either way, it makes the Ascendant Aquarius and the Moon and Saturn in the 6th House of Service, (5 hours back) or in the 7th House of Marriage (18 hours forward).

Five hours back…

Eighteen hours forward…

I’m opting for the second time scenario, as this would better relate to her marriage, first (Saturn) and her popularity, second (Moon). The subsequent 1st House Uranus in Pisces would then demonstrate her humble beginnings. The Moon in Virgo is significant.

Chart rectification is never an exact science, so the idea that we could be looking at an inaccurate picture is always possible.

Her Death From Cancer

This ‘death’ chart is less problematic, since the declaration of her death was well documented. There are two inconjuncts: the Sun and the Ascendant; and Jupiter and Neptune. Both aspects speak volumes, but I suspect more for Argentina than Evita.

The Combined Charts

The first connection to note is the ‘death’ Ascendant being conjunct to her ‘natal’ Uranus. This is a lightning strike for her legendary status. At the same time, the ‘fatal’ Jupiter is transiting her’ natal’ Sun/Mars conjunction, while the ‘fatal’ Uranus is conjunct her ‘natal’ Jupiter, and the ‘fatal’ Sun is nearly conjunct to her ‘natal’ Neptune.

The ‘fatal’ Pluto is almost conjunct her ‘natal’ Saturn. Perhaps that is why Juan Perón ended up losing his position as President of Argentina, after she died. Then the name Perón was forbidden to be uttered by the people, by the powers-that-be.

Hers was a life well-lived.
