The United States of America is NOT a Democracy

See, we’ve been viewing the States all wrong, since forever. It is supposed to be a servant of the people, not a government. Think SPQR, and you’ll finally get a glimpse of this truth.

I’m still reading “Bashar: Blueprint for Change” and came across this answer for why the government wants to control information, instead of sharing it. The question was whether the USA serves its people or not, since that was the way it was created by the founding fathers.

Yes, in a sense, although you were never meant to have a democracy. It was designed as a republic.

And, if you are looking at the political divide, this is why Republicans want to restrict voting rights, mainly to keep the Republic out of the Democrats’ control. Now it makes sense.
