On the Question of Jesus Being a Buddhist…

Therapeutae

All roads seem to lead back to Alexandria. Philo of Alexandria wrote about them. They may have been related to the Essenes in Palestine. And they may have actually been Buddhists. How’s that for a full circle?

Their system for prayer has been stated as twice a day at sunrise and sunset. That definitely sounds like the Essenes. And they had both men and women in their ranks. It was thought for a very long time that the Essenes were a monastic organization, but I suspect that women were held in high esteem in their ranks. And Jesus studied at Hilleopolis, according to Edgar Cayce. Is that the ancient name for Heliopolis or just a phonetic approximation of what Cayce got while under hypnosis? Jesus underwent an initiation there that was repeated after his crucifixion, spending three days and nights in a tomb.

He evidently did not have to visit India (as has been suggested by others), because India came to Egypt.

Q. Why does not the Bible tell of Jesus’ education, or are there manuscripts now on earth that will give these missing details?

A. There are some that have been forged manuscripts. All those that existed were destroyed — that is, the originals — with the activities in Alexandria. (2067)

Now, doesn’t that tell us everything we need to know?
