This Valentine’s Day…

Billy Idol’s “White Wedding”

It’s one of those slips of the tongue (Freudian?) that comes about when you’re thinking one thing, but another thing comes out. I was writing a comment on Saturn Season Astrology‘s YouTube video yesterday, in reference to Mars and Pluto being conjunct this Wednesday at 0° Aquarius, and instead of “Rebel Yell” I wrote ‘Good day for a White Wedding.’ What!?

Like last week’s political assassination of Joe Biden, this chart has all the planets in one hemisphere of the configuration. This time, they’re in the personal half. Interestingly, 30 minutes before, the chart would have had a Yod pointing at the Midheaven, formed by a triple inconjunct from Venus, Mars and Pluto on one side, and a single inconjunct from the Moon on the other. That’s the “White Wedding”.

At the point of exact conjunction between Mars and Pluto, there are no inconjuncts.

Mars Conjunct Pluto

You have a very strong will, although you may express it in subtle ways. If you don’t get your way, you may lose your temper, but when you see that that will get you nowhere, you change your tactics. The greatest problem with this aspect is that you may decide that getting your own way is the most important thing in life and that the only way to get it is by controlling others. Unless you are taught to have a high regard for other people’s rights, you may trample upon them. But in that case people are likely to gang up on you and try to stop you at every turn, which will make you feel very frustrated and even farther from attaining your objectives.

Sound like anyone we know?
