I haven’t thought of this individual for years. You may know him as a writer under his pen name, Nigel West. I knew him as the UK Conservative Member of Parliament for Torbay (1987-1997). That seems so long ago, and, now, so far away. But a Google search of MI6 brought up the cover of his book about it. That shouldn’t have surprised me, but it did. All of his books are about the British Secret Services.

Could it be said that Uranus on a Cancer Ascendant gives him the impetus to expose the UK’s secrets? The Grand Trine linking that conjunction with the Sun, Moon and Midheaven seems to suggest so.

People with this aspect often hide their real feelings and make sacrifices for others that they do not really want to make. Then they resent the person who asked for the sacrifice. You must learn to tell people how you really feel. If you do not, you have only yourself to blame for what happens. You must learn to accept that you are responsible for your own life. Do not act as if you are the victim of strong forces that you can’t control, because you can control them.

Unless you are truly supported by your family and friends, you will begin to feel lonely and isolated from others and inferior to them. You are likely to have very serious difficulties with authority figures, because you are afraid of how they will treat you, not expecting that anyone will ever give you the loving guidance you need. You will see all authorities only as potential threats to your freedom and as sources of pain and trouble.

OK. That makes total sense to me. He’s exposing the SIS in order to keep them from controlling him.
Well, now we know…
