The Sudden Passing of the “Dilbert” Cartoonist

Scott Adams (June 8, 1957 – January 13, 2026)

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t look at a person’s passing unless they were a political person, or had an accident. This is different. For one thing, he had a daily podcast called, “Real Coffee with Scott Adams” and on the day of his death, he waited until just before its broadcast to die, so his ex-wife Shelley had to update his many fans that he’d passed..

The Charts

As you can tell by comparing his birth and death charts, Adams was facing a lot of inconjuncts and some of those formed Fingers of God (Yods). Cash Peters posted a YouTube video of Adams’ transition and the symbolism expressed there is significant, at least to me.

I commented on Cash’s video that what he experienced with Adams’ transition put me in mind of this bible verse:

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Matthew 7:13-14 NIV

Interesting, eh?
