I Feared It Might be an April Fool’s Joke

Artemis II (April 1, 2026)

I watched this blast off on ABC News last night, holding my breath, as so many people must have been doing worldwide. It went off without a hitch, after a 10 minute delay. For anyone born after 1972, this must be a new history in the making event. Those born on or before 1972, this could be considered ‘old hat’, but is it, really?

Interesting T-squares, eh? And because the moon was full, last night, the Sun/Moon opposition is squared to Jupiter, a very expansive planet for exploration. With no inconjuncts, this bodes well.

Fingers crossed for the rest of the space voyage.
