Majestic (2026)
I know it’s going over old territory, the Roswell Incident. I read the original book in 1989. Yesterday I purchased the Kindle version for $2.99. That’s a bargain in anyone’s language. I started reading it immediately.
Whitley was advised to write about what knew (and was told by a relative) as fiction to avoid it being suppressed by the American government agencies. But, in his own words, he says it’s the Truth. Hmm.
From the (fictional) Foreword, comes this gem:
We have with our lies created the impression that an excursion of the pure is an invasion by monsters from the depths of our own psyche.
In the Bible when a man looks upon the face of an angel he will often cry out, “Woe is me,” or “I have sinned,” or other such words. This is because he sees in those dark angelic eyes a clear reflection of what he truly is.
In the eyes of the others we who met them saw ourselves.
And there were demons there.

I think that says it all!
