Secret of the Incas (1954)

The title of this post has been rattling around in my head for the past day or two. When I started to do my research this morning, I realized that “Raiders of the Lost Ark” was based on this film from 1954. Now why doesn’t that surprise me?

I know that we like our heroes to be perfect (or at least slightly flawed), but to have Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones be a rip-off of Charlton Heston’s Harry Steele is a crime.
