Was Jesus an Alchemist?

You-are-the-salt-of-the-Earth

You are the salt of the earth

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (Matthew 5:13 KJV)

Jesus spoke these words during the Sermon on the Mount.

I was reading some pages sent to me on Messenger by a friend who lives in Norway. The book is called “The Dwellings of the Philosophers” by Fulcanelli. The text is mainly about buildings in France which illustrate symbols of alchemy. Here is the page that sparked the thought of today’s title:

OK. Now take a deep breath before we continue: the Philosopher’s Stone… salt?

I know Jesus was speaking in parable, but the message is clear: we are the Earth.

In Wicca, salt is symbolic of the element Earth. It is also believed to cleanse an area of harmful or negative energies. (Salt – Wikipedia)

Can this be any clearer?
