“He’s Two-Faced”
You know that old adage about finger-pointing? One’s pointing at him, three are pointing back at yourself.
Yesterday, Donald Trump called out Justin Trudeau on Canada’s contribution to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Trudeau, being Trudeau, spun the question around to show that Canada has increased its contribution by deploying troops. Then Trump turned their little discussion into a 40 minute press conference on top of Trudeau’s part of the talk.
Later, in an overheard discussion with Macron and Johnson, Trudeau commented on why he was late to the ‘meet and greet’ afterwards.
Since this was ‘off-the-record’ it should not have appeared on CBC’s The National last night. When asked about it, Trump said the words written in this post’s headline…
Doesn’t Trump understand that what you accuse others of is pointing out things about yourself (i.e. “Fake” news). He is the fake news.
And, isn’t it interesting that Trump and Trudeau share the same first three letters in their surnames? So TRUe.
