This May Come as a Shock to the System

Benjamin Franklin (January 6, 1706 [OS] – April 17, 1790)

While reading the book, Return of the Revolutionaries, I kept wondering about this individual. About halfway through, he has not been included in the list of reincarnated individuals. (I just did a Google Image search, just to prove I’m right.) But I seem to know something, at the back of my mind.

That Yod pointing at Uranus is a cosmic reminder that he experimented with electricity by flying a kite during a thunderstorm. That may be a clue, folks.

With this aspect you must learn to control sudden outbursts of emotion that occur at difficult times when you least expect it. Also your present home life may not be a stable situation in which you can grow up emotionally secure and confident. Later in life, you may try very hard to get away from anything that reminds you of your earliest childhood, even if your childhood has not been difficult. You just feel that you have to get away and go somewhere else.

You should be encouraged to express your inner feelings and release the tensions that build up within yourself. In this way you will not be hurt by energies that you aren’t aware of in yourself.

Venus Inconjunct Uranus

You feel mixed up about whether you want to be close to others or be free. When you are really close to a loved one, you feel smothered and want to get away by yourself to do what you want. But when you are alone and free to do what you want, you miss your loved ones and want to be with them. It will take you several years to understand yourself enough so that you can strike a balance between these two needs, so be patient.

Common-law marriage to Deborah Read

At age 17 in 1723, Franklin proposed to 15-year-old Deborah Read while a boarder in the Read home. At that time, Deborah’s mother was wary of allowing her young daughter to marry Franklin, who was on his way to London at Governor Keith’s request, and also because of his financial instability. Her own husband had recently died, and she declined Franklin’s request to marry her daughter.

While Franklin was in London, his trip was extended, and there were problems with the governor’s promises of support. Perhaps because of the circumstances of this delay, Deborah married a man named John Rodgers. This proved to be a regrettable decision. Rodgers shortly avoided his debts and prosecution by fleeing to Barbados with her dowry, leaving her behind. Rodgers’s fate was unknown, and because of bigamy laws, Deborah was not free to remarry.

Franklin established a common-law marriage with Deborah on September 1, 1730. They took in his recently acknowledged illegitimate young son and raised him in their household. They had two children together. Their son, Francis Folger Franklin, was born in October 1732 and died of smallpox in 1736. Their daughter, Sarah “Sally” Franklin, was born in 1743 and eventually married Richard Bache.

Deborah’s fear of the sea meant that she never accompanied Franklin on any of his extended trips to Europe; another possible reason why they spent much time apart is that he may have blamed her for possibly preventing their son Francis from being inoculated against the disease that subsequently killed him. Deborah wrote to him in November 1769, saying she was ill due to “dissatisfied distress” from his prolonged absence, but he did not return until his business was done. Deborah Read Franklin died of a stroke on December 14, 1774, while Franklin was on an extended mission to Great Britain; he returned in 1775.

Wikipedia

I have included this section from Wikipedia in order to demonstrate what the descriptions of the Uranus Yod may be referring to. It may seem irrelevant to our research, but it is informative of the inconjuncts.

By the time of Franklin’s death, a new Yod appeared, this one formed by inconjuncts from Jupiter and Neptune, pointing at Venus. That means that his focus was returned back to love. I also think it informed his later reincarnation as this man:

Chris Christie (September 6, 1962)

After I wrote about Christie, this morning, I started thinking about who he might have been during the American Revolution. The common link? Obesity. Only Franklin fit the (US$100) bill.

I wasn’t sure these two would be connected until I compared their charts. Christie’s North Node is conjunct Franklin’s ‘fatal’ and natal Uranus. (I told you this planet might be a Cosmic clue.) Because Christie’s South Node is conjunct his natal Saturn, this is a very powerful Nodal axis. At the same time, Christie’s Neptune is conjunct Franklin’s ‘fatal’ North Node, and Christie’s Ascendant is conjunct Franklin’s natal South Node. Even the Moon gets a nod: Christie’s Jupiter is conjunct Franklin’s natal Moon; and Franklin’s ‘fatal’ Moon is opposite Christie’s natal Moon. These two are inextricably linked.

Check out this quote by Chris Christie, as proof:
