Adverse Weather Phenomenon is Nothing New

Yangtze River Floods (August 18, 1931 – peak)

We tend to think that climate change is a recent thing. It’s not. This image from Wuhan, China in 1931 shows the extent of the flooding that occurred there. Upwards to 4 million people died. Think about it! By today’s planetary figures of 8 billion souls that equates to 0.5% of the world’s population. And yet the population numbers were much smaller then.

My reason for looking at this climate disaster is to reflect on a past life memory, or a future one, that my second wife and I shared in a joint dream we had in the 1980’s. We were (or will be) Chinese in that life, and we were standing on a pier watching the water rise to flood levels. It was the end of the world as we knew it (but I feel fine).

This chart is totally randomized in order to see what inconjuncts were operating on the day of the peak flooding. There are two of them, which are totally independent of a correct time of day.

Mercury Inconjunct Uranus

Your mind moves quickly from topic to topic, often without pausing long enough for you to understand what you have learned. And if there is a lot of excitement or activity around you, your mind may race so fast to keep up with it all that you work yourself into a state of nervous frenzy. Under these circumstances it is almost impossible for you to concentrate or do any useful mental work.

Venus Inconjunct Saturn

You need and want love, but you may not be able to get it easily. You may feel that persons in authority make demands on you that you must fulfill before they will give you any love and support. Although everyone must fulfill certain social demands, this should not be the condition for being loved. If this demand is carried to an extreme in your case, you will become cold-hearted and unable to love others even when you want to. You may also feel that you cannot indulge yourself in any pleasure or even love.
