Computer Breakdown
It never rains, but it pours. Last Monday, my computer monitor decided it had had enough. I thought the simple solution would be to replace it, which I did. But the new one wouldn’t work either, until I switched monitors with my 17 year old computer and it worked perfectly. That’s when I realized that the HDMI cable connection was faulty. So I ordered a DVI-to-DVI cable and now my newer computer is working fine, again. But then my older computer seemed to give up the ghost. What’s going on?
My Kepler 7.0 program is on my older computer. I cannot access my astrology charts. The last entry on it was yesterday for Brian Mulroney’s death. I’d originally set his death time for 12 noon, but from all accounts, he died late in the afternoon on February 29th. Now, I cannot correct the time because the computer won’t start up properly. Oh-oh.
I guess I’m going to have to bite the bullet and get the old computer fixed or buy a new one. Whichever, the files on the hard drive need transferring to a better server, such as my newer computer. My Turbo Tax programs and tax files also need to be moved. I’m not looking forward to that. Either way, a computer technician will need to be involved.
So, no more charts for awhile. (No doubt, you’ll be relieved to know that…)
oh no, what a pain! I wonder what the cosmic significance of all this technical disruption means. Xxx

I thought it might have been Mercury Retrograde, but it wasn’t. Maybe the Universe wants me to stop doing astrology…
