Is This the Unholy Alliance Spoken of in an End of the Age Prophecy?
I’ve already written about Joseph Smith, here. So, now I want to turn my attention to his successor.
Brigham Young (June 1, 1801 – August 29, 1877)

The issue of polygamy became a basic tenant of Mormonism under his leadership. Smith and his wife were opposed to the idea, because it undercut their union, especially after Smith’s untimely death @ 38.
A polygamist, Young had at least 56 wives and 57 children.

Now, does that seem a little excessive to you?
When Ellie Dreams Down Under first discussed this prophecy pamphlet about two world leaders with five letters in their names, my mind immediately thought of the leadership of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Unfortunately, the pamphlet doesn’t seem to exist anymore, so we have no idea if it came from the Mormons or not. But it wouldn’t surprise me if someone in the organization came across something that was written in the early 1800’s that was critical of the Smith/Young alliance. But, as any well-meaning pamphleteer would do, they didn’t name the individuals, but only hinted at them.
However, after 150 years, the original fight was forgotten, and the modern person could be excused for thinking this had to do with the famous “End Times”. That’s the way prophecy is set into the future, not realizing that the events have already passed.

Enough said?

That’s why as ‘prophecy’ it cannot be trusted.
