He was Afraid of Going to Hell When He Died

John Calvin (July 10, 1509 – May 27, 1564 O.S.)

I’m looking at this individual because of a video by Cash Peters, after his visit to Switzerland:

Here’s his rectified birth chart:

I can see why he would think so: a Yod pointing at Mars is formed by Inconjuncts to Jupiter and Neptune. There is also an inconjunct linking the Moon and Pluto. We won’t delineate the aspects.

Joseph George Miller DD (April 25, 1876 – September 4, 1938)

Maybe it’s wishful thinking, maybe it’s real. But Calvin’s association with John Knox makes this an interesting thought. My adoptive father greatly admired my paternal grandfather in this lifetime.

There are no inconjuncts, so what you see is what you get.

That event Uranus on the Descendant says a lot, especially as Saturn is inconjunct the Scorpio Ascendant. But the suddenness of his death while giving a sermon put me in mind of Calvin’s passing.

None of this ‘proves’ a prior life connection, but it does give one pause: George’s Mars is conjunct Calvin’ ‘fatal’ Neptune and natal South Node. (The Ascendants cannot be relied upon, unfortunately.) But taking Calvin’s birth time as accurate allows us to see how George’s Uranus is conjunct Calvin’s natal Midheaven. And Calvin’s fatal Pluto is opposite to George’s natal (randomized) Ascendant.

At any rate, these two were definitely strong candidates for Protestant church hierarchy.
