There’s been a flurry of social media posts about the idea that Jesus was returning this month, specifically on the 23rd or 34th, depending on which site you follow. The quote from Matthew 24:36 says it all.

People seem desperate to be ‘saved’ by Jesus’ return. That says a lot. But they need to be careful about what they ask for, mainly because they might get it, but not necessarily in the form they want.

The Apocalypse of Saint John is a very tricky business. Here’s a video that speaks of the same thing, but from a Jewish perspective:
