Is Murder of a Rival Ever Justified? Or is It Fated?

The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson (2026)

It’s a lethal combination, jealousy and a handgun. Because of them, a young cycling athlete was murdered. The Netflix documentary examines how they found the killer and proved her guilt in court.

So, why should Moriah be the one to lose her life? The symmetry of her birth and death charts should help us understand why. She was murdered a week before her 26th birthday.

Anna Moriah Wilson (May 18, 1996 – May 11, 2022)

The birth chart timing is randomized. The 26th birthday is represented by Neptune in Capricorn conjunct the Descendant in the 7th House (of Open Enemies). There is one inconjunct linking this Neptune with Venus in Gemini. Hmm.

The first two (of three) gunshots occurred at the time of the event chart. In this one, the Moon is inconjunct Saturn. The Moon is pivotal to most of the aspects at the time of the murder: opposition to Mars, Jupiter and Neptune in the 4th House; and trine to Pluto in the 2nd House. These aspects demonstrate the motivations of the killer, Kaitlin Armstrong. Pluto in the 2nd House is fear of loss of money and influence. The trio of planets in the 4th House represent her turbulent home life. Notice that Venus is in that House, too. Venus and Jupiter are trine to the Sagittarius Ascendant, while Mercury is in opposition to the Ascendant. Mars and Neptune are opposite the Midheaven. There are no unaspected planets.

This is where it gets interesting. In my humble opinion, she knew her time was up. It’s something we all experience when the end is near, but normally we have no idea how it will happen. Moriah wouldn’t have continued to see Colin if she had realized that Kaitlin was going to murder her, That’s logical. Even Colin didn’t realize that Kaitlin had it in her to commit murder.

Pluto is transiting Moriah’s natal Neptune, thereby triggering the original inconjunct with natal Venus. Her natal Pluto is conjunct the event Ascendant. Luckily, her parents could see a silver lining in the stormy clouds of her death. .They started a foundation in her name to promote her love of cycling.
